Diversified Communications, an international media company headquartered in Portland, Maine, with a portfolio of events, conferences, e-Media communities, publications, and television stations, is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our growing company.
This position is responsible for working independently on smaller development projects, as well as working with a senior developer on enterprise level projects. This position requires a high level of self-motivation, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
The Junior Software Developer will be tasked with fielding production support requests from the business to maintain multiple systems on multiple platforms. In addition, owning the year to year development of our self-service client portals, as well as assist senior level staff on larger more complex development efforts.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge: 2-3 years' experience in both client and server side application design, as well as a solid grasp on database design.
